RICS Books is the commercial publishing and bookselling arm of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors - one of the most respected and high profile global 'standards and membership' organisations for professionals involved in land, property, construction and environmental issues.

Since its formation in 1981, RICS Books has established itself as the leading supplier of books, contracts and software and has satisfied the information needs of surveyors, engineers, architects, planners, solicitors, accountants, academics, librarians and training officers.

We have two trading divisions:

Publishing
The publishing division of RICS Books provides the source of essential information for surveyors and related professionals. We publish in a full range of formats - books, forms, contracts, loose-leaf and online products, including:

  • RICS official statements of practice, guidance notes and information papers (including leading titles such as the The Red Book - RICS Valuation Standards)
  • RICS forms, contracts and codes of practice
  • Topical, practical guides
  • Core textbooks
  • Major practitioner works covering legislation, regulations, practice and procedure

Bookselling
The retail division of RICS Books stocks over 10,000 books, contracts, software titles and CPD products for professionals, academics and students in the areas of surveying, land, construction and other related property fields. We are also an authorized retailer for JCT contracts, plus the associated subscription and On Disk services.

We provide an unrivalled delivery service through our mail-order department, and have bookshops at RICS offices in London, Coventry and Cardiff.

We also sell the range of RICS-branded giftware and provide a quality diploma framing service to RICS members.
